Solution
ACL Digital deployed Okta, a leading cloud-based Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform, to address these challenges through two primary components:
- Okta Single Sign-On (SSO): Implemented a centralized authentication system enabling users to access all authorized applications with a single set of credentials. This integration encompassed various cloud applications (e.g., Salesforce, Office 365) and on-premise directories. Additionally, Adaptive Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) was introduced to enhance security during login attempts.
- Okta Advanced Server Access (ASA): Streamlined secure access to SSH and RDP servers, removing the need for managing individual server credentials. Users accessed authorized servers with Okta credentials, supported by role-based access controls to ensure the principle of least privilege.
