    Solution

ACL Digital partnered with the leading endoscopic video imaging organization to develop a wireless, connected endoscopic visualization platform with embedded AI. The client wanted the product to support wireless connectivity to live stream and share endoscopy videos and images for remote healthcare. As a preferred and reliable technology partner, below are some of the solutions we provided:
    • End-to-end product engineering design of the Wi-Fi-enabled battery-operated camera device with LED light source, camera charging dock, and remote display receiver
    • Real-time capture of endoscopy procedure imagery, viewing on HDMI-enabled remote screen, and data stored in AWS Elastic Block Storage attached with EC2 in a HIPAA-compliant environment
    • Produced and supported web application along with backend services deployed on AWS EC2 instance
    • Live streaming from web application via Wowza media server installed on an EC2 instance
    • Supported electrical safety certifications per IEC 60601 and UL 62368
    • iMX6-based form factor Hardware design
    • FCC, CE, IEC 60601, and UL 62368 certified design
    • -20C to +70C Operating range
    • Wireless video streaming through MiraCAST
    • 100 milli-seconds latency requirements
    • Patient management and video storage compliant with HIPAA guidelines
    • ML algorithm/model to detect organs captured in video
