    Lack of performance and security optimization for the dual-band Wi-Fi solution

    Solution

    • Reproduced the high packet drop scenario similar to actual one in the lab for easy debugging
    • Provided solution to create dual Access Point interfaces simultaneously running at 2.4GHz and 5GHz band for smooth connection transition between the bands
    • Optimized the Wi-Fi configuration for camera and mirror for strengthening the reliability
    • Developed algorithm for channel switching during packet drop scenarios
    • Designed simple and convenient algorithm for encrypted connection between the rear view camera and mirror without user intervention of sharing SSID and password
    • Enabled WPA3 on Wi-Fi chipset for enhanced security
